District 22 Night in Annapolis

Monday, January 16, 2017 • 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
The event will highlight a keynote speaker who will focus on the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. with a wonderful dinner catered by "Three Brothers" restaurant.

The event in Annapolis is free and begins at 6:00 PM at the Miller Senate Office Building, President Conference Center - West I & II, 11 Bladen Street, Annapolis MD 21401.

Delegate Tawanna P. Gaines became the proud recipient of The Casper R. Taylor, Jr. Founder's Award for 2015. This award is presented to a sitting member of the House of Delegates for steadfast commitment to public service and the integrity of the House of Delegates.
Delegate Gaines Appointed

To Vice-Chair of Appropriations

Delegate Gaines will replace former Delegate James E. Proctor, Jr., who passed away on September 10. "Delegate Gaines brings a wealth of experience to the role of Vice Chairman," said Speaker Busch. "She has been a great advocate for transportation investment across the State of Maryland and a strong voice for Prince George's County. I am confident that she will continue to be an important voice in the leadership of Appropriations."
